Higher Calling has produced (2) two radio singles presently“Aint No Sunshine” with guest vocals by Erykah Badu and “Smooth”. These (2) smoothjazz singles from Higher Calling have been on the smoothjazz charts for over(25) twenty-five weeks. 

Smoothjazz single Ain’t No Sunshine with guest vocals by Erykah Badu was released as a single in early September of 07 where it debut @ #42on Smoothjazz.com reaching as high as #40 spending (12) weeks on Smoothjazz.com Top 50 Chart. Ain’t No Sunshine debut @ #26 reaching as high as #24 spending (9) weeks on R&R Indicator Top 30 Chart. Ain’t No Sunshine listed #1 two weeks in a row on R&R Indicator for most added and #1 most increased plays on R&R Indicator.

It was also #1 on Smoothjazz.com for most added and charted #1 for most increased spins on Smoothjazz.com.

Smooth the second smoothjazz single was released in mid March 08 and made it’s debut @ #43 climbing to #30 on Smoothjazz.com Top 50 Chart where it charted for (15) weeks. Smooth debut @ # 26 on R&R Indicator Top 30 Chart moving up to #12 where it charted for (13) weeks.

Smooth listed #1 most added & #1 most increased spins onR&R Indicator. It also listed #3 most added & #2 most increased spins on Smoothjazz.com.

Smooth also reached as high as #5 on Music Choice(cable)

DManns released it’s (3rd) single Being With You from the CD HIGHER CALLING. Dwayne teams up with long time mentor & friend Kirk Whalum who makes a guest appearence on this single. Being With You listed #1 for  Most Added on R&R Indicator Top30 chart, Smoothjazz.com Top 50 Chart and Groovejazzmusic.com week of 08/17/09.

Dwayne has released his (2nd) video, the title track from the Higher Calling CD. Higher Calling was shot in Israel, Jerusalem by Kerwin DeVonish (Random Access) and edited by Jayson Fletcher(Jinx Productions). Higher Calling captures Jerusalem’s beautiful, unique and historic scenery.
